Created in 2016 by brothers Blair & Drew Hicks, PLANET X CINEMA is an outlet to screen films in the genre of "righteous trash." Think low budget sci-fi & horror, TV movies, bizzaro comedies, straight-to-video classics, and kiddie flicks that don't stack up.
Planet X screens in San Antonio, focused on odd-yet-totally-lovable cinema. It's a celebration of forgotten gems, VHS deep cuts, public access horror hosts and the drive-in culture of yesteryear. We don't show movies we don't love, and we don't show anything so-bad-it's-good. All screenings are 100% free.
